Per Stirpes is an optional column in the Beneficiary Import template. It controls whether per stirpes distribution applies to all the beneficiaries on an account.
Accepted values
Per Stirpes is one setting for the whole account, not for each beneficiary row.

How Per Stirpes works in SurgeTK
Per Stirpes is one setting per account, not per beneficiary. If two rows for the same account give different values, the last row with a value wins.
It shows in the account's Beneficiaries section as "Per Stirpes: Yes" or "Per Stirpes: No".
You can also set it by hand. Open the account, go to the Beneficiaries section, and tick Apply per stirpes distribution to this account.
The Beneficiary report does not print the Per Stirpes setting.
Redtail and Zoho users
Redtail has no Per Stirpes field. SurgeTK stores its own Per Stirpes setting per account. A CRM sync does not change it. Set it in SurgeTK by import or by hand.
